When it comes to pure artistry and creative energy, Marissa Maya (or just Maya to the besties) is the definition of a Glam Up icon.
She discovered her passion for beauty at just 18, teaching herself makeup through YouTube tutorials and perfecting her craft one glam at a time. What started as helping her hometown besties get ready for proms and special occasions turned into a full-blown love affair with all things beauty.
Originally studying dietetics, Maya quickly realized her heart belonged to glam — where color, creativity, and confidence collide. Even as a kid, she dreamed of designing beautiful things (yes, she took sewing classes 🪡✨), and now she channels that same imagination into every look she creates.
After graduating from esthetics school, Maya joined Glam Up to bring her glow-forward magic to our clients across Nashville. From flawless makeup and glowing spray tans to signature hair tinsel moments, she creates looks that radiate individuality and self-expression — the ultimate Glam Up way.
