COURTNEY
I’m Courtney Pride! I am so honored to be chosen for this month’s Glambassador. Currently, I’m an inside sales manager, cheer coach, and former NFL Cheerleader. Like many, I started out cheering at the rec level for little league football and well.. the rest is history! Cheerleading has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I was blessed with some amazing coaches who saw my potential and never accepted less than my best. They truly pushed my limits, but I am so grateful for it. I attribute my drive and work ethic to this sport. I spent countless hours in the gym at tumbling privates, stunting privates, and working to be the best me I could be. The time, dedication, and life lessons are priceless when I look at the experiences I have gained. I had the privilege to cheer on the Tennessee Volunteers during my time as an undergrad at the University of Tennessee. More recently, I was able to cheer professionally for my hometown team and serve as a captain for 2 of my 5 seasons. My favorite part of my cheer experience is being able to serve my community and now as a coach to pour into the next generation. My favorite quote is
“Do your best, and let God do the rest.”
We cannot control outcomes or results, but we can control our attitudes, our responses, and our beliefs about ourselves. It’s so important to be kind (to yourself and others) and be your own biggest cheerleader!
